Ambleside School, a K-8 school in Herndon, VA, is currently recruiting full-time and part-time teachers. Ambleside is a Christ-centered school using the Charlotte Mason methodology. Full-time Teacher, First Grade:

Seeking a first gradel teacher with a broad knowledge of the liberal arts. Background in instructing writing, grammar, science, or math at this level is preferred. Applicant must possess a love of learning, classroom management skills, and desire to work as part of a team. Those interested in only a one-year commitment need not apply.  Bachelor’s degree is required.  Applicant should be in agreement with school’s statement of faith.  Contact admin@ambleside.org.

Part-time Spanish Teacher:

Seeking a, part-time instructor of Spanish for students from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Applicants should have an interest in practicing Charlotte Mason's pedagogy and partnering with foreign language instructors in other Ambleside Schools.  Background in instructing Spanish I and interest in applying the Francois Gouin method of instruction is desired.
