Since its founding, Ambleside of Fredericksburg, a K–8 school in the Texas hill country, has inspired teachers, parents, and leaders seeking a better way to educate children. Visitors from North and South America, Africa, and Europe come to discover what a living education can be. Many leave inspired to establish Ambleside schools in their own locales.
Ambleside of Herndon, Virginia, established in 1999, is a K–8 school in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C.
Ambleside of San Angelo, Texas was founded in 2003 by a group of parents inspired by the Fredericksburg school. Ambleside San Angelo is a K–12 school.
Ambleside of Hout Bay, South Africa, located near Cape Town, was founded in 1987. In 2006, the school adopted Charlotte Mason's philosophy and the Ambleside Method. It offers classes through grade 11.
Ambleside of Ocala, Florida, is located on the historic campus of Grace Church in downtown Ocala. Ambleside Ocala opened its doors in August 2006. It is a K–8 school, with plans to grow year-by-year through grade 12.
RiverTree School opened in September 2009 in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, suburb of Brooklyn Park. RiverTree is a K–8 school, with plans to grow year-by-year through grade 12.
Ambleside School of Colorado opened in the fall 2010 in South Denver and serves students in grades K–8.
The Vine School in Cape Town, South Africa, was established in 1988. It joined Ambleside Schools International in 2012.

Ambleside School of Switzerland was founded with the goal of providing a "living education" to the children of Switzerland. There is currently a core group of persons meeting regularly with the hope of establishing an Ambleside School in the near future.
Ambleside School of Boerne was founded to provide a "living education" for the children of Kendall County and surrounding areas, we seek to cultivate a love for learning and care for others while interacting with the best literature, the greatest works of art and music, and the majesty of creation. We hope to open our doors to students K-8 in the Fall of 2013.

Ambleside School of the Adirondacks is pleased to announce that we have been successful in locating an initial facility at 20 Ogden Street in Glens Falls, New York. K-8
