Internship
Internships
Ambleside Internships can be a life changing experience, offering the opportunity to reflect upon what it means to be a person and to treat children as persons, how the relational atmosphere affects our capacity to learn, how habit shapes our learning and our lives, how new habits can be cultivated, and how both loving relationships and inspirational ideas empower persons to learn and grow.
Internships are held during the academic year, beginning on a Wednesday morning and concluding on a Friday afternoon. They offer a comprehensive view of an Ambleside education, providing an opportunity to study the principles of Charlotte Mason, to observe Ambleside teachers modeling the applications of these principles, and to discuss these principles with master teachers in a small group seminar. Internships are normally limited to ten participants.
