Summer Institute Fredericksburg, TX

A one week intensive training in Charlotte Mason's "Method of a Lesson." 

During this intensive, 1-week immersion seminar, you will engage in an interactive, reflective study of the philosophy of Charlotte Mason and the application of the Ambleside Method.

The institute begins with readings and discussion of Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy. Then, plan to experience what it is like to be student at an Ambleside school. Faculty will teach from the Ambleside curriculum, including science, history, mathematics, Bible, literature, grammar, composition, nature and composer study, and more. The week culminates with hands-on application of the Method of the Lesson as guests plan and teach lessons from the curriculum.


Cost: $1,400 per participant

Includes: Tuition, daily lunches, and opening and closing dinners. Additional meals,
transportation, lodging, and miscellaneous costs are not included.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of an Ambleside Internship or ASI exception.

Schedule: The Institute begins on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm and ends on Saturday at 6:00 pm.
