Director of Instruction

The Director of Instruction is responsible for the supervision of faculty in their areas of instruction, providing support to teachers and families as well as leadership during staff development activities.  Classroom management and administrative skills along with ability to work as a contributing member of the larger administrative team is important for success. Responsibilities would include program monitoring, evaluation, and management, overseeing growth and training of teaching faculty, and providing behavioral or academic support to weak students.

Applicants should have a love for learning, and a desire to lead teachers in investing in children and families.  A broad knowledge of the liberal arts, background in writing instruction, grammar, science, and the humanities is preferred.  

Requirements:   A commitment to following the curriculum, learning philosophy, and methodology of Ambleside Schools International is required.  Experience in a Charlotte Mason classroom or as a teacher of multiple ages is preferred. Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree is preferred.  Applicant should be in agreement with the school’s statement of faith. Visit
